Neighbourhood Link Weekly Update 

This week your local neighbourhood officers have continued proactive patrols, engagement and safeguarding work across the area.

Officers conducted a patch walk around Bede Park, speaking with members of the public, addressing local concerns and providing reassurance patrols within the park and surrounding streets.

Beat surgeries were held at Salvation and Iceland where officers engaged with residents, discussed ongoing issues affecting the community and offered crime prevention advice.

High visibility school patrols have continued throughout the week during morning drop-off and afternoon collection times to provide reassurance to parents, pupils and school staff whilst addressing parking and anti-social behaviour concerns.

Officers attended incidents requiring scene preservation duties to support and ensure evidence was secured.

 Follow-up visits were carried out with victims of burglary to provide updates, safeguarding support and further crime prevention guidance.

Neighbourhood officers also assisted response colleagues with the arrest of an individual following a Code Zero incident, helping ensure a swift and effective response.
